When I saw the theme for Papertrey Ink's May Blog Hop I was happy - Flowers!
It's one of my very favorite things, in real life and also in paper crafting.
I spent the last few months at work planning an all-day Stroke class that took place on May 21st. Since the physician speakers treat patients at our hospital and the class was for hospital staff, we weren't allowed to pay them for their time. I decided to make each one a gift basket and card. Only one of the 5 physician speakers was female, so I got to get the fun supplies out for her!
These blooms were cut with Spellbinders Rose Creations dies and Papertrey Ink Vintage Cream CS. Each flower was stamped with a different pattern from Papertrey Ink's Bitty Background Blocks stamp set. The scale of these stamps is perfect for flowers and I know I'll be making more of these.

Holy Cow Cindy, this is so fabulous! I feel kinda faint after partaking in such loveliness. Totally shabby-licious! THe layers and awesome patters are just so captivating. Needless to say, I'm in love! In a word: Brilliant.
