Thanks for the Lift

This is a Papertrey Ink Make it Monday card with a hand-drawn border.

This is a fun technique and I really like how it highlights the sentiment.

Butterfly Wishes in the Shabby Tea Room

This week brings this beautiful inspiration photo and the idea of using butterflies.
I had a few butterflies to choose from but this Quickutz die is one of my favorites.
Thanks for stopping by. I'm off to see the other butterfly creations in
The Shabby Tea Room.

M & M Sticks for the classroom

These are for Peyton's 3rd grade classroom friends. Since it took quite a little while to fill 24 of these I went simple on the tag design. I printed the vintage image several times per sheet then just punched them out with a scallop circle punch. I used a Sakura  pen to add some shimmer to parts of the image. I actually closed the tops with the Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher tool then added bakers twine - blue for the guys and pink for the gals. Fun little project:)

Spring Time at The Shabby Tea Room

Week #56 at The Shabby Tea Room brings a Spring Color Challenge.

And here is a tiny Easter Basket made with Papertrey Ink's Egg Hunt stamp set and Favor It Box 2.

The sentiment is f rom Crafty Secrets' Easter Set. The eggs were cut with Papertrey Ink's coasters and Egg die.

for Amy

Amy of The Vintage Workshop is posting free vintage images every day this month.

This is the one I used for my project. Isn't it so pretty?

And here is my Easter Card. I added some prisma glitter to those tulips and the Crafty Secrets sentiment seemed to be a perfect match.
I've been a Vintage Workshop fan for years. Once a month Amy gives away a free image. I have purchased several images but also have a very nice little supply of her free images in my photo library on my computer. If you are a fan of vintage and pretty images you will want to check out The Vintage Workshop.

Thanks to You

Week #41 at Waltzingmouse brings a fun challenge to make tiny cards, something I really enjoy. Here is the inspiration photo.

More burned fabric flowers - I just love making these things. These are sprayed with Tattered Rose, Dazzling Diamonds and Sunkissed Peach Glimmer Mists. I was going for a vintage look with these flowers. I got the pearl buttons for a song at a local flea market. I colored them with a Copic B00 marker.
Waltzingmouse stamps used: Musical Backgrounds and Fancy Phrases.

Another thing I like about these tiny cards is you can add all the bumpy embellishments you want because they aren't mailed. In fact, they don't even need an envelope:)
