March 2015 Papertrey Ink Blog Hop

It's always a good day when I get a chance to participate in the monthly blog hop with Papertrey Ink.

Here is the  beautiful inspiration photo.

And here is what I came up with:

I know. It's not a smooshing challenge. But I have been trying and trying to get this technique down. I love the look.
I used Iconic Images, Embellished Ellegance and Delightful Dahlia Additions stamp/die sets. The leaves are cut from wood paper, and the floral sequins are from the Lovely Laurels kit. I dabbed a little stickles onto the centers of each flower. I also remembered to use the linen impression plate on my water colored background. That's another look I love.
On my lunch break today I looked at every card posted so far. They are all just so pretty!

Wowzers! One of my favourites of the day, that's for sure. I thought you had used the new Linen textured cardstock; great idea to dry emboss your watercolour paper.
