Here is our inspiration photo:

Wait til' you see what's up for grabs this week for our winner! Our sponsor this week is JustRite Stampers.

For my card I used Merry & Bright and Lace Borders cling sets from JustRite. I stamped the border and ornament with Ranger's embossing ink and embossed with silver Filigree embossing powder.  The sentiment is also from the Merry & Bright set. I love that this set coordinates with the 2010 Heirloom Ornaments dies too.  It makes quick work when creating holiday projects. I can see using this large ornement for tags as well.

 And here is the prize!!!

Three stamps sets with coordinating dies!
This JustRite Prize Package is an $84.80 Value:
JustRite Custom Dies – Charm Dies
Charming Christmas Cling Stamps
Elegant Charms Cling Stamps

Week #89 in The Shabby Tea Room

Hello and welcome to another fun and inspiring week in
This week Sheri is out hostess and she asks that we create a card/project using the colors found in nature.

"Colors of Nature"

For my card I used I used an image from Sheet #166 from
Whoopsi Daisy Designs, our wonderful sponsor for
week #89.
Oh does she ever have some aDORable images!

The cardstock and leaves paper is from Papertrey Ink. I colored the sweet little gal and added some glitter to a few areas. I love her mushroom stool.
This weeks winner will get to choose 5 sheets for a total of 20 images!

I can't wait to see what you create using this beautiful inspiration photo.

Here is the Pacific Northwest it has been absolutely gorgeous. Our leaves are the most beautiful colors and we've been having dry and cold weather.

Have a great week and be sure to visit the other Shabby Girls' blogs for more "Colors of Nature" inspiration.

Week #88 in The Shabby Tea Room

Welcome to another fun week at The Shabby Tea Room. This week Melissa is our host and she asks us to create a card or project with a holiday theme and to use the colors from this beautiul inspiration photo.

"A Shabby Pastel Christmas"

I love everything about this photo: the colors, the delicious cupcakes and cookies, and the beautiful flowers.

Our wonderful sponsor this week is Designs by AR.
She has so many wonderful templates and other great products.
The winner of this week's challenge will win 2 templates!

For my project I used the Carry All template. I just love this template. I have a large collection of templates and I have to say that they aren't all user friendly. This template from Designs by AR was super easy to assemble and everything lined up like it should! It went together effortlessly. I used a Scalloped Oval nestability die to cut the 'handle' openings.
I stamped the cream CS with the Background Basics Tin Types stamp set from Papertrey Ink. The snowflakes are Papertrey Ink dies covered with glitter. The sentiment is Hero Arts.
This little tote measures 4 1/2 " tall, 4" wide and 1 1/8" deep. It's the perfect size for a pair of socks or other small gift item. I'll be making lots of these for Christmas! And if you give a gift to someone early in the season they will be able to re-use the pretty package.

Have a great week - I hope you find time to join us for this festive challenge:)

"Shabby Thanksgiving" in The Shabby Tea Room

Welcome to week #87 in The Shabby Tea Room. This week Char is our host and she has provided us with this sweet image.

Char asks that we create a card or project using the colors brown, yellow, blue and neutrals.

For my card I used papers from Pink Paislee and Melissa Frances. The image border is from this week's sponsor, Robyn's Fetish Digital Stamps and is called Ornate Frame. This week's lucky winner will receive 5 images From Robyn's store. They are very fun to work with. And since you are printing them yourself you can print them in any size to fit your project.

Be sure to stop in at the other Shabby Girls' blogs to see the beautiful creations they have waiting for you!

I hope you have a chance to create something for this week's Shabby challenge. Have a great week!

p.s. - here's a postage tip. I bought some stamps last week and learned that the post office now sells 20-cent stamps. Most of the cards I mail have a bump and require an extra twenty cents to mail. So I always put two 10 cent stamps on my envelopes. Now I can add one 20-cent stamp. Just passing this on in case you also like to mail cards with pretty embellishments.
