This card is for the Focal Point Challenge in
The Moxie Fab World. Cath is featuring several contests celebrating the newly released Card Designs Handbook publication.
I was inspired to use something I have had tucked away for a couple of years: a vintage number plate from a rotary telephone. I bought two of them not knowing what I would do with them. I just couldn't pass them up. I decided to use one as a focal point for this card. Between the "1" and "0" is a notch in the metal where I tied several pieces of died seam binding. I used the Background Basics Farm & Barn stamp and Versa Magic Pink Grapefruit ink to give the MFT die cut a wood grain look. The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink's Heart-2-Heart #4 stamp set. The patterned paper is from My Mind's Eye Howdy Doody 6 x 6 pad.
Thanks for stopping by today:)
