Here's the piece that started it all. It's supposed to be for a TV, which would go in the center. When I saw the CD holder up top I knew it would be the perfect place to store stamps and small paper packs, and it is. All my nestabilities are on the wall where I can just turn and grab them. It's kind of funny how most things in stores hang on a peg so I can bring them home and hang them on my racks too. I love the glass work surface. Mainly because it can't be damaged but here's another interesting thing: clear stamps stick to it! When I'm done with one I just lay it on the glass. When I use backgrounders I always lay them face up, ink them, then put the paper on top and with this table they stick to it like they would an acrylic block. Bonus:)
The upper cabinets are for things I need to get to often: magazines, alterables, tins, etc. The lower piece is a kitchen island with a butcher block top. The drawers hold mostly punches. Top three drawers are (1) all hot fix items (2) embossing tool and powders (3) scraps. I love cutting both paper and fabric at counter height. That lamp I got on ebay a few years ago and I love it because it has 2 outlets on the base of the lamp so I can plug tools into it rather than having to plug them into the wall.

New Craft Room

The wall color is called Forget Me Not and is a Benjamin Moore color. I really like how it looks with the brown carpet. This used to be a spare bedroom so the brown chair in the corner doubles as a twin bed when needed. It's a twin sleeper. The tree and birds are decals from www.dalidecals.com. All furniture is IKEA except the chairs.

Papertrey Ink Blog Hop Spring Card

It's a rare occasion when I make a card that doesn't have a flower on it! I love anything floral. So the requirement this time is to create a card that signifies spring. When I think of Spring I instantly think of tulips. Since I received the Melon Berry cardstock I wanted to combine it with Spring Moss cardstock and the bitty dots papers. I punched the tulips out from various colors in the bitty dots paper pack, and attached them to a strip of Stamper's Select white cardstock matted with Melon Berry and sewn with a scrolly stitch. The patterned paper is Chatterbox. Sentiment is from PTI Tags for Spring set, stamped in Burnt Umber Palette Ink. The Left upper photo corner accent is Spring Moss bitty dot paper cut with a Quickutz die.
