March 2015 Papertrey Ink Blog Hop

It's always a good day when I get a chance to participate in the monthly blog hop with Papertrey Ink.

Here is the  beautiful inspiration photo.

And here is what I came up with:

I know. It's not a smooshing challenge. But I have been trying and trying to get this technique down. I love the look.
I used Iconic Images, Embellished Ellegance and Delightful Dahlia Additions stamp/die sets. The leaves are cut from wood paper, and the floral sequins are from the Lovely Laurels kit. I dabbed a little stickles onto the centers of each flower. I also remembered to use the linen impression plate on my water colored background. That's another look I love.
On my lunch break today I looked at every card posted so far. They are all just so pretty!

Make it Monday #203

This week's challenge is all about doodling over stamped images. Such a fun technique.

I used the Simple Sunflower and Phrase Play #3 stamp sets for this card, and I water colored around the images after I did my doodling.
My 13 y.o. son decided he wanted to move to the basement, which meant my craft room had to move to the main floor of the house. I've made more cards in the last month than I have in the last year. So nice having it in a more convenient location. Future room post coming soon.

Thanks for taking a look at my MIM card:)
