Thank you Nichole

Welcome to my post for the "thanks Nichole Heady" blog hop. Since finding Papertrey Ink 2 1/2 years ago I have enjoyed papercrafting like never before. When my card was chosen by Nichole for the GSS contest it gave me the incentive to start submitting cards for publication. I have enjoyed this so much.

I have enjoyed reading Nichole's blog and seeing all of her creations. I even found my new favorite cookbook on her blog!
So for the card I decided to use my favorite Papertrey stamp set, Vintage Picnic. Freshly harvested apples for Nichole in a charming chartreuse picnic basket. Enjoy!

Papertrey Felt Storage

This is a Clip it Up ribbon organizer. It has a bar under it that is perfect for attaching the little bags of felt.

You're Invited

I just love the sketch for Waltzing Mouse Sketch challenge #11. It's just fun to make a round card now and then too.
I've been wanting to use the new Melissa Frances Kitschy Kitchen papers. That little gal with the apron is too cute. The sentiment is framed with Waltzingmouse Vintage Circles.

HEC Challenge #9

I found this challenge via Amy's blog and decided to add my card. I made 54 of these for my f riend for wedding thank-you's. {there were 65 but after smudges and mistakes I ended up with 54}. They fit the challenge requirements of no dimension and  useing CS and ink only. I really love how the swirl in the sentiment from Star Prints looks with the Fancy Flourishes image. The lower picture is blurry but just wanted to show the shimmer. I colored just the tips of five swirls with a glitter pen. INR it's very pretty.
Ted's challenge deadline is August 28th about 3 p.m. PST so why not play along? A Papertrey Ink gift card will go to one lucky participant!

Paper Crafts Sept/Oct Publication

I love all the Papertrey Ink sets that have spots for buttons. For this card I had buttons covered with text fabric. I remove the shanks so I can just glue them in place. This was a super fun card to make.
